Backed By Stats (backedbystats.com) is a free NFL and NBA player prop research site: alternate lines players clear 80%+ of the time, matchup ratings, 10,000-game simulations of every game, and a public track record.
What you will find here
- The NFL board: every player prop line a player has cleared in at least 80% of his games, rated 0 to 100 for this week's matchup, plus the Touchdown Model.
- The NBA board: points, rebounds, assists, threes and combos, rated for each night's matchup.
- Game predictions: every NFL and NBA game simulated 10,000 times from real play-by-play, with the most plausible final, a box score, player props and a 3D replay.
- The Track Record: every trend we have shown, graded after the game, hits and misses.
How the numbers work
Ratings are calibrated probabilities, every hit rate shows its sample, and the simulations are tested on games they never saw. Read the details in the NFL methodology and the NBA methodology.
